The new year is here, and we are very excited to start a fresh and new month. January will be filled with the children learning all about winter animals and hibernation. They will learn about the differences on animals who hibernate, those who live during the cold climates, and those who migrate. With the change in our Toddler room taking in effect we will be making sure the children will be engaging in age-appropriate activities as well. For enrichment, the children will follow lesson plans that are set to enhance the teaching during the day. The activities will vary from artic animal art, learning about music notes, “artic animal” food snacks, and learning Spanish words that relate to winter animals and hibernation.
As a reminder, we will be closed on Jan 20th in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Also please remember to check your child’s cubbies to assure they have weather appropriate clothing for the chilly evenings. Thank you all!
