Back To School
Summer Recap: We had lots of fun during this summer! We were able to enjoy the sun’s rays by taking a dip in the pools and we were able to get our faces painted. Not only were we doing fun stuff but we learned a lot about different topics that we didn’t cover during school time. We learned about sea life, in particularly, about sharks and mammals. We had visits from our friends at Bubble Mania, Firefighters and the Police Officers. The children had lots of fun and they learned a lot through this summer. Please join us for Back to School Night, Sept 27th, we hope to see you there!
September Recap: This has been a great start for the new school year. The month of September’s theme is All About Me. We begin the normalization process and remind the children how to properly care for the classroom environment and materials. In science the kids were excited to learn about magnets and how they work and interact with different materials. In Geography we learned the continent song to help us remember the names of all the continents. Botany is a big part of our Montessori classroom. This month the children were excited to learn the parts of the apple and how seeds are the start of new plant life. The children are looking forward to replanting our garden on the playground next month.
